Candidates should have Qualified Teacher Status, a proven teaching record, and strong classroom management skills. Roles can range from short-term absence cover to long-term positions. Grass Roots Academic Support is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic supply teachers for a variety of Secondary Schools in Southend and the surrounding areas.
Supply teaching can be anything from a 1 day absence cover, which may only be called in that morning, to long term ongoing roles, so it really is down to what suits you.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- A proven teaching record and/or high quality references.
- A recent and clear online DBS Disclosure (a new one can be applied for).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
