Job summary
A community-focused housing organization in Abercynon is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance and promote a positive safety culture. The role involves overseeing facilities management, conducting inspections, and maintaining safety records. Ideal candidates will have a NEBOSH General Certificate and at least five years of experience in health and safety or facilities roles, ideally within social housing. This position offers a full-time contract and competitive salary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in health & safety or facilities management.
- Experience in social housing or property management is preferred.
- Knowledge of H&S legislation such as HSAWA and COSHH.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of properties.
- Coordinate facilities management and contractor safety performance.
