A successful high school in the UK is seeking an Attainment Manager (Teaching Assistant) to provide targeted support for students with special educational needs. This role involves working with students in both individual and group settings, ensuring their safety and academic progress while implementing necessary modifications to facilitate learning. The position offers 2 permanent contracts with competitive remuneration. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and experience working with children. Attainment Manager (Teaching Assistant)
2 x Permanent Contracts Available
Grade 4, (39.2 working weeks) 32.5 hours per week
FTE Salary is £25,583 - £25,989 (Pro Rata Salary is £19,513 - £19,823)
Purpose: Provide specific support to students with SEN across Key Stage 3-5 in the classroom and SEN base either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Provide invigilation to students who have access arrangements during assessments and examinations. Modify work for visually impaired students as required (training will be given). Report to line manager and undergo training and CPD as necessary to the role.
