Temporary Science Technician

Location: Whitehaven
Contract: Full-time, Approx 6 weeks

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our Science Department. Working under the instruction and guidance of senior staff, the successful candidate will provide essential technical and practical support to teaching staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, maintain, and organise equipment, materials, and resources for science lessons
  • Provide general practical support within the Science Department
  • Support staff and students during practical activities where appropriate
  • Attend staff briefings and meetings as required

  • Comply with all school policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection
  • Report any concerns promptly to the appropriate person
