A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant for a supportive secondary school in Bristol. This role involves providing 1-to-1 support to a student needing extra help, fostering positive behaviors, and engaging with students throughout the school day. Pay: £89.38–£95 per day. Location: BS13, South Bristol. Contract: Full-time, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
We’re working closely with a supportive secondary school in the BS13 area of Bristol that’s looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role.
The successful applicant will work 1‑2‑1 with a young male student who needs extra support to focus and regulate in the classroom. You will be focusing on building a professional, encouraging rapport with this child, whilst also being flexible to the needs of the wider classroom. The successful applicant should be a role model, modelling good manners, resilience and kindness.

The school is keen to appoint someone full‑time and, for the right person, this role has strong potential to become permanent.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key part in supporting pupils throughout the school day. You’ll work alongside class teachers to help students stay focused, engaged, and confident in lessons. Support may be in class, in small groups, or on a one‑to‑one basis, including pupils with additional needs.
This is a hands‑on, rewarding role where consistency and positive relationships really matter.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
