A reputable housing association in Southend-on-Sea is looking for an Income & Allocations Assistant. This permanent role involves excellent customer service to support the Income and Allocations team, leading mutual exchanges, and liaising with Local Authorities. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and possess good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office. We are recruiting in our Customer and Housing department for an Income & Allocations Assistant. This is a permanent role. We are seeking a person with excellent customer service skills. If you have experience of working in social housing this would be a bonus but is not essential. The role of the Income & Allocations Assistant is varied. You will also work closely with the Tenancies, Income Officers, Customer Ambassadors and Built Environment teams to ensure excellent customer service. You will mainly have telephone and email contact with our customers; however, there will be some face‑to‑face contact within the office. Amongst other things you will:
