My client is a Manchester-based global designer and supplier of laboratory and manufacturing automation solutions, with a strong focus on drug delivery. They are looking for a Robotics Engineer to join a small team to be at the forefront of creating innovative software solutions to drive their robotic applications.

Responsibilities include programming robotic arms using C# and developing functional, software, and test specifications. The role also involves communication with other teams within the company, so cross-collaboration skills are essential. As a client-facing Robotics Engineer, experience in client interactions would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable sharing ideas within the team and working autonomously. Working with cutting-edge products requires a passion for skill development and quick learning.

1. A degree in any STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
2. Development skills in C# (or C++, Python)
3. Client-facing and excellent interpersonal skills
4. Familiarity with SQL Server / Oracle
5. Experience developing applications in a machine control environment
