A healthcare provider in Newport, England is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on a fixed-term basis. The ideal candidate will manage patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to clinical governance. Responsibilities include assessing and treating patients, managing chronic diseases, and providing medication reviews. This role requires strong communication skills, a degree in Pharmacy, and registration with the GPHC. In summary, recogniseand work within own competence and professional code of conduct, to:
Ensure you are competent and appropriately trained to carry outyour areas of responsibility, including keeping up to date with practice policies and clinical standards
Prioritise own and other’s workload and ensure effectivetime-management strategies are embedded within the culture of the team
Use relevant IT systems to support role including SystmOne, TeamNet, Word, Excel, Access, and other systems where necessary
Assist in promoting and maintaining your ownand others’ health, safety and security as defined in the Practice Health &Safety Policy and the practice infection control policy and publishedprocedures.
