We are looking for a physiotherapist with extensive experience working in an outpatient MSK setting, who can demonstrate significant knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions and ideally who has developed a special interest in the management of common spinal conditions. Part‑time hours would be considered.

You will be a strong team player with excellent communication and health‑coaching skills, involved in the delivery and development of pathways, supporting the development of junior staff and students. You will embrace innovation, integrated working and be committed to following best practice to ensure patient‑centred care. You will be actively involved in service development, work on your own initiative and be responsible for the development of junior staff. You will be willing to work across NEE to meet the needs of the service, contributing to the supervision of B6 staff in satellite sites (Harwich and Clacton).

Main Duties

As part of the integrated team, you will deliver therapeutic input to patients in a clinic setting with the aim of returning them to maximum independent living, within a stimulating environment that actively promotes self‑management of all activities of daily living. Working as an autonomous practitioner, you will provide specialist input to all patients that fall within your field of expertise. You will work with colleagues across health, social care, mental health and voluntary sector to ensure holistic and joined‑up delivery of care, empower patients to make decisions about their own care, signpost them to relevant community and voluntary services, and support patients’ carers and assistants with risk management. You will manage the work of junior staff, assistants, students and volunteers in your professional area.
