An established environmental consultancy in Cheltenham is seeking a dedicated Ecologist to join its team. This role offers the chance to contribute to various projects, focusing on ecological surveys and report writing. Ideal candidates should have a relevant degree, experience in field surveys, and strong communication skills. - Carrying out field surveys, including protected species and habitat assessments.
- Preparing clear and concise ecological reports.
- Supporting multi-disciplinary projects with ecological inputs.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Assisting with fee proposals and tenders.

- Preparing clear and concise ecological reports, including PEAs, PRAs, EcIAs, and input to EIAs
- Supporting the delivery of ecological inputs on multi-disciplinary projects
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and planning authorities
- Assisting with the preparation of fee proposals and tenders
- A relevant degree in Ecology or a related subject
- At least one season of ecological field survey experience
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- A good understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- A full UK driving licence
