Sales Manager / Field Sales Executive (Remote / Field-Based) required for a logistics company in the Essex, Oxfordshire, Reading, and London areas. This role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of sales experience or extensive account management experience within a freight forwarding company. The role focuses on representing the company locally rather than aggressive sales targets. You will conduct approximately 10-12 face-to-face meetings weekly, aiming to secure new or repeat business, with a basic salary of GBP36-40k plus an annual bonus based on new client acquisition, and a car allowance of GBP5k. The position is field-based, with work-from-home options on days without meetings.

The Role
We seek a candidate who can meet both new and existing clients, ensuring regular visits to a client list of around 150 previous clients to re-engage them. The emphasis is on relationship building rather than hard selling. The role involves typical sales duties associated with a sales manager or executive.

Experience
Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of freight forwarding. This may include operational staff transitioning into sales, account managers seeking a more field-oriented role, or sales/business development professionals looking for their next opportunity. You must be comfortable holding about 10-12 meetings weekly and possess excellent communication skills and a passion for relationship growth. Residency within Essex, Greater London, or Berkshire is essential for short-notice client meetings.
