The consultancy has entered a new phase of growth and is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead one of their new projects in Southwest London. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent construction knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to mentor junior staff. With a wide range of clients and varying project sizes, the business offers excellent progression opportunities and promotes an enterprising culture.
- Lead cost planning and commercial management across projects
- Oversee tendering and Bill of Quantities production
- Manage preparation of contract documents and administration
- Review valuations and variations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare detailed financial reports for clients
- Conduct and lead client meetings, providing strategic advice
- Mentor and support Assistant QS and junior team members
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent certification
- RICS Chartered Surveyor (or close to chartership)
- Significant experience delivering projects £5m+
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Driver’s license required
- Confident, articulate, and client-facing
