Capstone Recruitment are working exclusively with a medium-sized cost management consultancy who specialise in the high-end residential and hotel market. They partner with some of the most high-profile clients in the world who prioritise quality and luxury above all else.

The consultancy has entered a new phase of growth and is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead one of their new projects in Southwest London. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent construction knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to mentor junior staff. With a wide range of clients and varying project sizes, the business offers excellent progression opportunities and promotes an enterprising culture.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead cost planning and commercial management across projects
  • Oversee tendering and Bill of Quantities production
  • Manage preparation of contract documents and administration
  • Review valuations and variations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for clients
  • Conduct and lead client meetings, providing strategic advice
  • Mentor and support Assistant QS and junior team members
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent certification
  • RICS Chartered Surveyor (or close to chartership)
  • Significant experience delivering projects £5m+
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Driver’s license required
  • Confident, articulate, and client-facing
