A leading manufacturer in laser systems in Cheadle Hulme seeks an Assembly Technician to join their growing manufacturing team. The role involves assembling high-precision motors for lasers, adhering strictly to quality specifications, and offering opportunities for on-the-job training. Ideal candidates will have strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and previous experience in a manufacturing environment. The position offers a salary of £26,000, private health care, a competitive pension plan, and flexible hours.

Our client is a world leading manufacturer of high-quality laser systems for scientific and biomedical applications.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be instrumental in producing their products which are renowned for their ground-breaking technology and reliability and are used in some of the most cutting-edge technology in the world. Due to increased business growth, and the opening of a new facility, there are exciting opportunities to join their manufacturing team.
You will be working to instructions to assemble motors that are used in high precision lasers, and you will work with a balance of quality and speed as you become trained in each area of manufacturing. You will need to have excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity and be dedicated to ensuring that each step of the process is completed exactly to specifications and to the best quality possible. You'll also be comfortable using a computer to a basic standard.
In return, our client offers a salary of £26,000, private health care (on completion of probationary period), a competitive pension, flexible working hours and on-the-job training.
The hours are 7-3.30pm.
