We build apps, training guides, and driver training resources designed to give learners the best chance at passing their driving test. Our training materials are used by thousands of learners each day and we're proud to improve the standard of driving in the UK.
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing, fully remote team. We planned to invest heavily in our product and we're ramping up development in 2021 and 2022. Our current development team works well, they make their deadline and they have contributed significantly to growing the business.
Working with our CTO and CMO, you will be a key part of delivering new products and executing the current 12-month roadmap.
- Providing guidance to our in-house designers
- Delivering clean, robust code
- Troubleshooting, bug fixing and providing solutions to technical issues
- Reviewing and refactoring legacy code
- Optimising performance, spotting bottlenecks and improving the efficiency of the system
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Scaling the current platform
- 3-5 years in a senior software development role
- 2:1 in Computer Science or a similar course
- Excellent understanding Python (Django), and PHP (Symfony)
- Ability to work to Agile principals
- The ability to collaborate with team members in different timezones
