Job summary
A project management firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Stevenage. The role involves delivering projects while ensuring client requirements are met and managing design through to construction. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, negotiating with suppliers, preparing project documentation, and mentoring junior staff. This position offers £700 to £850 per day for a 9-month contract, with a hybrid work arrangement (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in construction or engineering.
- Strong understanding of design processes and installation requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects on time and within budget while representing the company.
- Liaise with clients and consultants throughout the design phase.
- Manage suppliers and negotiate terms effectively.
- Prepare RAMS and installation programs.
- Mentor junior staff and attend training for skill development.
