Capital Allowances is a form of tax relief available on virtually all types of commercial property expenditure, including property acquisitions, new build and refurbishment schemes. Our team of Capital Allowances specialists are dual qualified in both property & tax, and they work with a full range of clients across all sectors. From initial design, through to the end of a development, or as part of the due diligence team, we are there to assist our clients in optimising their tax position - considering everything from tax efficient designs through to the structuring of contracts and wording in transaction documentation.
As a graduate you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including but not limited to, client meetings, researching entitlement and tax history on property transactions, formulating acquisition claims, applying tax treatment to capital project expenditure as well as delivering claim reports to a high standard to ensure our clients\' expectations are met. This 2 year programme is for graduates wanting to specialise in Capital Allowances. We will provide structured training and support for you to gain the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) via the Taxation Allowances pathway through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
