THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile mid-weight designer with 5+ years’ experience to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Group Design Lead, this role will collaborate with colleagues in the UK and internationally, supporting global initiatives. The successful candidate will shape our visual communications, especially through creating impactful, brand-aligned presentation materials.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

1. Collaborate with the Group Design Lead on projects from concept to completion.
2. Support the Marketing team and agency by leading design projects across brand, video, collateral, presentations, and activation.
3. Maintain a proactive, flexible, and agile approach to challenges.
4. Enhance the visual craft and aesthetic of Talon across online and offline channels.
5. Analyze performance of design strategies and assets for continuous improvement.
6. Act as brand guardian, ensuring collateral is on-brand and training team members as needed.
7. Model Talon’s values and behaviors to foster a positive culture and tone.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Excellent all-around designer with strong branding, typography, layout, digital, and print skills.
• Expertise in PowerPoint/presentation design.
• High-level video editing, motion graphics, animation, filming, and photography skills.
• Ability to create engaging social media assets.
• Ensure high design standards across the business and act as brand guardian.
• Innovative mindset, proposing new ideas and championing them internally.
• Highly creative, detail-oriented, and interested in advertising and media trends.
• Excellent time management, organized, and capable of delivering solutions swiftly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• 5+ years’ experience in a design environment, media agency experience is a plus.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating project ownership from brief to completion.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) and PowerPoint/Keynote.
• Experience in B2B roles is preferred.
