A healthcare trust in the UK is recruiting for a motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist at Queen's Hospital, Romford. This role involves providing specialist physiotherapy services to patients in acute elderly wards, supervising junior staff, and contributing to service development. Ideal candidates will have a physiotherapy degree, leadership qualities, and experience at Band 5 and 6 levels. The position offers a competitive salary between £53,751 and £60,651 per annum and a permanent contract.
The Acute Elderly Unit Therapy Team in BHRUT are actively recruiting for a motivated and dynamic Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our team at Queen's Hospital, Romford, Essex. The team covers three acute elderly wards as part of the Frailty service provision. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will expand your clinical skills, supervise and educate more junior staff, and deliver holistic, patient‑centred care.
As a Band 7 Physiotherapist you will act as an autonomous practitioner, leading complex assessment and discharge planning, supervising and mentoring Band 6, Band 5, student and therapy‑assistant staff, and contributing to service development with evidence‑based practice.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
