Job summary
A public-sector recruitment firm seeks an experienced Lead Developer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This hybrid role requires strong technical leadership in delivering scalable solutions aligned with the Value for Members programme. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with .NET, C#, and cloud development using Azure, alongside a solid understanding of CI/CD practices. The position offers a daily rate of £660 (Inside IR35) and involves flexible onsite days in Brighton.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with .NET and C# is essential.
- Cloud development experience using Azure is necessary.
- Experience with Playwright and Selenium for test automation is required.
- Understanding of modern development practices and CI/CD is critical.
- Must have proven experience in a lead or senior developer capacity.
- Experience within complex or public-sector environments is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of solutions aligned to the Value for Members programme.
- Provide hands-on development and technical leadership across the team.
- Work closely with architects, testers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Influence best practices across development and testing activities.
