HGV Class 1 Night Driver for immediate starts in Daventry

Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Night Driver for the following role.

Pay rates-

Nights: Monday to Friday £20 Per Hour

Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as that is paid separately when you book holiday.

Your hourly pay rate is £20 and you will accrue £2.41 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Duties of the HGV Class 1 Night Driver –

• Trunking to RDC’s and other depots
• Manual handling involved as need to help unload vehicle
• Wheeled deliveries which involves pushing or pallets with a pump truck
• Monday to Friday shifts
• Curtain sided vehicles

We require HGV Class 1 Night Driver immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distribution across the whole of the UK. Our customer in Daventry is one of our largest clients based in the Northamptonshire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous and current positive feedback.

Our client will be accepting a Class 1 Driver who fits the criteria listed below:

The ideal HGV Class 1 Night Driver will have –

• Have a valid HGV C+E HGV Class 1 Driver License
• 6 months experience is essential for this role.
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Card
• Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.

Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
