Job summary
A staffing agency in Wotton-under-Edge is seeking a Production Operative to support the production line. Responsibilities include preparing and packaging products, operating machinery, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce goods for various clients and brands.
- Label finished products according to relevant regulations.
- Operate production machinery safely and according to guidelines.
- Work efficiently on the production line to meet targets.
- Keep the production area clean and in good condition.
- Report machinery faults to the Operations Manager.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.

Gap Personnel are looking for a motivated and dependable Production Operative to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis, based in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire. In this role, you will support the production line by preparing, processing, and packaging products to meet client and brand specifications. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Prepare and produce goods for a variety of clients and brands, including weighing, sealing, and labelling products.
- Label finished products in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Operate production machinery, including form, fill & seal machines, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and according to guidelines.
- Work efficiently on the production line to meet established output targets and quality requirements.
- Keep the production area and equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Report any machinery faults or issues to the Operations Manager for prompt resolution.
- Assist with order picking and packing when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with industry guidelines and certifications.
- Adhere to data protection and confidentiality regulations at all times.
- Demonstrate company values in all internal and external interactions.
- Manage your workload to ensure efficiency and deadlines are met.
- Offer assistance to colleagues during peak times or in their absence.
- Represent the company at trade or retail events, when necessary.
