Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a GOC registered Optometrist for a rewarding full-time role in Dundee. You will provide high-quality eye care to patients in their homes, free from retail pressures. The role operates Monday to Friday, ensuring a healthy work-life balance with no evening or weekend work. Excellent support is provided to focus on patient care. Competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, along with generous perks including a car allowance and 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

You’ll be delivering high‑quality eye care to patients in their own homes and care settings around Dundee. No shop floor noise, no rushed clinics, just time to do the job properly with excellent support behind you.
- £65,000 per year salary

You’ll work across care homes and private domiciliary visits in and around Dundee, supported by an experienced dispensing and admin team. Everything is organised for you — equipment, diary, logistics — so you can focus on patients.
- Monday to Friday only
- No evenings. No weekends. Ever.
- 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Full clinical equipment provided
- Genuine clinical freedom
- Time to build rapport and deliver proper care
- GOC registered Optometrist with relevant OPL / Health Board registration
- UK experience essential
- Confident working independently
- Organised, calm, and clinically focused
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in or commutable to Dundee
(Domiciliary experience is useful but not essential — support and training are provided.)
