Job summary
A leading care organization in Waingroves seeks dedicated individuals to provide 24-hour personalized care in a residential care home. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality personal care, updating care plans, and encouraging residents' independence. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 months UK care experience and required training certifications. Flexible weekend hours are available, with a competitive hourly wage of £12.35 to £12.85.
Qualifications
- Referenceable work history required.
- In-date training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding, infection control).
- Enhanced DBS certificate needed, within the past 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility support.
- Follow and update individualised care plans.
- Promote residents' emotional and psychological wellbeing.
- Encourage independence and meaningful daily engagement.
Skills
You’ll be part of a dedicated team providing 24‑hour personalised care in a beautifully maintained 28‑bed residential care home in the heart of Ripley. Your focus will be on supporting residents to live independently, with dignity and joy.
- Deliver high‑quality personal care, including bathing, dressing and mobility support

- Referenceable work history
- In‑date mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)*
- Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service*
- Minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting
Work on Saturday and/or Sunday with typical hours of 06:45 to 14:30.
The rate of pay will be £12.35 or £12.85 per hour, depending on hours worked.
