Main duties of the job

• Following NICE guidelines when prescribing.
• Attend school meetings, safeguarding meetings as and when required (via TEAMS).
• Undertake duty calls as needed.
• EMIS and electronic prescribing – training can be given.
• Regular supervision available, both clinical and managerial.

Our Clinical services

• Remote work.
• Attend Canterbury or Basingstoke clinic once a month (expenses will be paid).
• 8-10 appointments a day: remote review/new patient medication initiation appointments 45 mins, or telephone titration review appointments 15-20 mins.
• Prescription writing slot with 8-10 prescriptions to authorise in 45 mins.
• 30 min admin slots.

Person Specification – Experience Essential

• NMC Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice.
• CAMHS background.
• BNFC and the ability to follow clinical protocols.
• Experience working with children and young people and/or adults diagnosed with ADHD.
• Able to carry out face to face or remote appointments.
