Job summary

A prominent engineering firm is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee contracts within the Sizewell C Supply Chain Group. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial skills, experience in contract management, and familiarity with the nuclear industry. Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships and implementing reporting mechanisms. This role requires strong negotiation skills and an understanding of UK regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering successful contracts.
  • Clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
  • Familiar with the nuclear site licence conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide stakeholder management across the project.
  • Manage Supplier / Contractor commercial relationships.
  • Implement progress and dashboard reporting.

Skills

Effective commercial / contract management skills
Negotiating, influencing and communication skills
Good commercial skills and ability to make sound decisions
Understanding of contract performance measurement
Familiarity with Forms of Contract (NEC & FIDIC)

Education

Relevant degree level
Progressing to full membership of the RICS / CICES / IOB
