Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Dunbar, East Lothian
Compensation: £35,100 + Up to £3K Bonus + Benefits

At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Mechanical Technician at our Torness Power Station site.

The Role

As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide support to EDF to enhance lifetime of power station and represent Cavendish Nuclear.

Day-to-day, you’ll participate in the planning and preparation of works for mechanical maintenance delivery as per EDF requirements.

  • Carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards.
  • Comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area.
  • Carry out safety and behavioural observation.
  • Comply with quality requirements of the work pack.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Torness Power Station, East Lothian.

Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship in relevant discipline preferred although will consider experience in similar field.
Security Clearance
