Are you an experienced Injection Moulding Technician who enjoys working autonomously and taking ownership of night shift production?

Our client, based in the Birmingham area, is seeking a skilled technician to become the technical lead on their night shift, ensuring high-quality, right-first-time manufacture and smooth running of injection moulding operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Setting and conditioning injection mould tools
  • Troubleshooting faults and responding to machine alarms
  • Maintaining quality standards and processing parameters
  • Supervising night shift activity and supporting operators
  • Preparing auxiliary and assembly equipment
  • Recording production data and ensuring full traceability
  • Supporting continuous improvement and best practice
What They're looking for
  • At least 3 years' experience in injection moulding
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving ability
  • IMT Level 2 (or working towards)
  • A proactive, quality-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working nights and taking responsibility on shift
