Job description

Kolt Recruitment are looking for a paint sprayer (night shift) to join a busy and well-established accident repair centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sprayer who can work efficiently overnight, producing high-quality finishes and keeping jobs moving through the paint process to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out paint spraying on vehicles to manufacturer and bodyshop standards.
  • Prep, mask and prime panels ready for painting when required.
  • Mix and match paints accurately, including blending and colour matching.
  • Apply basecoat, clearcoat and complete finishing work to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work is completed within deadlines and quality checked before handover.
  • Maintain spray booth, equipment and work area cleanliness.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe handling of materials.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a paint sprayer within an accident repair centre / bodyshop.
  • Confident with all aspects of spraying, including blending and colour matching.
  • High attention to detail and a quality-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets on night shift.
  • Good knowledge of paint systems and modern repair methods.
  • ATA / NVQ qualifications beneficial but not essential.
