We are seeking an experienced UI Solutions Developer / Front-End Architect to lead and implement front-end solutions using React within the Pega Infinity platform for large-scale public sector transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize user interfaces that are secure, scalable, and aligned with government digital service standards. You will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end engineers, UX designers, and business analysts.
- Lead the front-end architecture design and development using React integrated with Pega Infinity.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces across complex workflows and case management systems.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain clean, modular code and implement best practices for testing and version control.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and UI contributors.
- Troubleshoot and optimize front-end performance across different devices and browsers.
- Support deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and defect resolution in coordination with DevOps teams.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade React applications, ideally within Pega Infinity or low-code environments.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing application state with tools like Redux, Context API, or Recoil.
- Solid knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Experience with secure coding practices and knowledge of public sector data protection standards.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must currently hold active UK Security Clearance (SC level).
- Candidates without active SC clearance will not be considered.
