You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, no nights and working weekends on rotation. You will be caring for renal and dialysis patients in their own homes in the Ipswich area.
- Assisting Patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
- Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
- Setting up patients automated PD machines.
- Visiting patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
- Monitoring of observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure patient receives correct regime.
- Providing peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
- Keeping the environment tidy and safe, stock replenishment, waste removal.
- Contacting referring PD units where their intervention or advice is required.
- Supporting both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.
- Annual salary of £43,840 including car allowance.
