Essential Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent.
  • Must be passionate and possess a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children attending the setting.
  • To have a can do attitude and be adaptable to the needs of the nursery and company.
  • To have a firm and broad understanding of the EYFS Statutory requirements and how to implement these.

  • To prioritise the safeguarding of all children, staff and families that have access to the setting.
  • To promote a fun, high quality environment for all children in our care.
  • Ensuring the Welfare and Learning development requirements of all children are met at all times.
  • To confidently and respectfully work in partnership with parents and carers.
  • Undertake a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery.
  • Ensure all children are clean, loved and happy at all times.
  • Adhere to all Policies and Procedures set out by the company.
  • Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures relating to the nursery.
  • Take pride in the delivery of exciting and age appropriate activities.
  • To ensure mealtimes is a time of pleasant social sharing.
  • To fully comply with our Confidentiality policy.
  • To fully understand and promote the company’s Ethos and Core Values.
  • To be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted.
