A healthcare trust in London is seeking a CAMHS professional to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions for children and young people. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering CBT interventions and working collaboratively with families. Responsibilities include supporting trainee practitioners and contributing to community initiatives. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is essential. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a culturally diverse community, improving wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
In line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the Newham Mental Health Support Team (Wellbeing In Newham Schools Team) is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England.
We are looking for confident CAMHS professionals with experience delivering CBT based interventions who are keen to develop their skills in providing evidence based interventions to children, young people and parents both within schools and in CAMHS clinic setting. You will have a demonstrable track record of providing collaborative and supportive interventions with children, young people and parents/carers. You will have professional registration within your chosen profession, for example CWP or EMHP, with practical experience post-qualification. The community served is multi-ethnic and culturally diverse and we welcome applicants who are skilled at working with the richness and complexity of this multicultural context.
We offer an exciting and dynamic environment where your ideas for service development and your career development will be valued. You will be supported directly by senior colleagues.
