Job summary
A reputable law firm in Rotherham is seeking an experienced Wills & Probate Locum for an office-based position, starting from December 8, 2025, until the end of February 2026. The role involves managing a diverse range of Private Client cases including wills and estate planning, probate, and Court of Protection matters. Candidates should have significant experience as a Private Client Solicitor or equivalent, capable of working independently with a client-focused approach. Competitive pay rate of £40–£50 per hour is offered.
Qualifications
- Experienced Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive / Lawyer.
- Ability to run files autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong client care skills and a practical, adaptable approach.
Responsibilities
- Handle a varied Private Client caseload.
- Manage Wills & estate planning.
- Oversee Probate / estate administration.

CRA Consulting is working with a well-established, reputable law firm in Rotherham who are looking to bring in an experienced Wills & Probate Locum to cover a key period.
You’ll be handling a varied Private Client caseload, including :
- ✅ Wills & estate planning
- ✅ Probate / estate administration
- ✅ Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- ✅ Court of Protection matters
- 🔹 Experienced Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive / Lawyer
- 🔹 Confident running files autonomously with minimal supervision
- 🔹 Great client care and a practical, adaptable approach
- 🔹 Locum experience helpful (but not essential)
