I’m working with a high‑performing financial advisory group in Manchester that is offering a rare and exciting opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor to join their established in‑house legal team. This role will see you work directly with the Head of Legal, playing a pivotal role in supporting the group’s ambitious growth plans, which include complex M&A transactions, private equity investment, and group structuring.

This is not your typical in‑house legal role. You’ll be immersed in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment, working alongside a respected and strategic Head of Legal on a wide variety of corporate matters. • Supporting on M&A transactions, both acquisitions and disposals, from initial term sheets to completion
• Advising on private equity investment and related structuring
• Drafting and negotiating a range of corporate and commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, SPAs, NDAs, and joint venture documents
• Providing legal input on group restructures and corporate governance matters
• Working collaboratively across departments including finance, compliance, and investment teams
• Instructing and managing relationships with external counsel where required
• Contributing to risk management and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory obligations

• UK‑qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in corporate law (strong experience in private practice or prior in‑house welcome)
• Solid background in M&A, private equity, and company structuring
• Able to manage transactions independently while knowing when to elevate or collaborate
• Commercially minded, proactive, and confident in advising senior stakeholders
• Comfortable in a fast‑moving and evolving environment
