Due to their high volume of projects, our client is looking for an Assistant Estimator to work and report into their Senior Estimator, there is massive potential for career progression in this role as the company are looking to expand over the next 5 years taking on more projects and lager packages. The main duties of the role can be seen below:

• Preparation of tenders
• Collation of enquiry documentation
• Cashflow data
• Bid submission

REQUIREMENTS

Our client is looking for a candidate with 2 – 4 years’ construction experience, ideally having worked a Junior or Assistant Estimator/Quantity Surveyor role previously. Degree qualified is preferred. Our client’s main office is in Brentwood, Essex, so the chosen candidate must be able to commute 5 days a week, there is also potential for remote working in the early stages of the role as the head office is in the final stages of being completed and ready to move into. I am also looking for someone who is fluent in excel and has experience using Bluebeam.

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

For this opportunity, I am targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere from £30,000 to £45,000. I am happy to consider people who are CIS, PAYE or Limited Company.
