As a Scheme Actuary, your role is crucial in ensuring that Defined Benefit (DB) schemes are properly funded. Your specialized knowledge will help trustees secure their schemes, and you will need to be pragmatic and solutions-oriented to address complex issues and ongoing changes in schemes.

This role offers a supportive environment that encourages challenging conventional approaches, always prioritizing the best interests of the client.

The individual:

• FIA qualification
• Scheme Actuary Certification required or willingness to undertake it
• Comprehensive understanding of current issues faced by DB schemes, including regulatory and legislative changes, funding challenges, and risk management
