Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their south Manchester office, offering a salary of £26-28k. The role involves managing import processes, ensuring correct documentation, and providing customs clearance instruction. Qualifications
- Experience as a freight forwarder or land freight operator is essential.
- Proven understanding of the exports/imports processes is required.
- Knowledge of roll on/roll off operations is important.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all documentation is correct.
- Provide customs clearance instructions to agents and suppliers.
- Manage the import log and all import processes.
Skills
Land freight operator / road freight forwarder required for ROAD FREIGHT for an international Logistics company. This role is for the south Manchester office. The company covers a wide range of Logistics functions and works with some big names. Logistics coordinator for Road Freight (exports/imports) upto £28k.
- Make sure all appropriate documentation is correct.
- Provide customs clearance instruction to import agents and suppliers / customers on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
- Keep the import log up to date.
- Manage all aspects of the import process within the road freight department, including the typical Freight forwarder / Land freight operator duties.
- Road freight is mainly roll on/roll off into Europe.
