Overview

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to a Team Administrator position working 37.5 hours per week supporting the Getting Help Teams covering Teesside. The team is currently based at Evergreen, Acklam Road Hospital though this may change in the future.

This a 12 month fixed-term post covering the secondment of the existing postholder, but may become permanent subject to funding being available.

Responsibilities
  • As part of the community team, provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to team members to ensure they have everything they need to provide the best possible care to the children, young people and families who use our service.
  • Be the first point of contact for service users, family and carers, responding to a range of enquiries or concerns over the telephone.
  • Deal with enquiries to the community team from other agencies and professionals, taking action where necessary and ensuring messages are communicated accurately to relevant personnel in a timely manner.
  • Support and maintain standard systems and processes set out by the Trust; demonstrate excellent IT and organisational skills and maintain a good knowledge and understanding of information systems.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proven secretarial skills and previous experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, prioritise workload and work to deadlines while handling issues sensitively and maintaining confidential information.
