A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced fire door engineer/carpenter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working on all social housing projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works to existing doors and frames.

The works will be based out of their Croydon office and will cover both internal and external door works. There will be aspects of the role where you will be working around members of the public, including but not exclusive to FED's, corridor doors, riser cupboards and access panels.

• Full time, permanent role with company benefits package
• Vehicle, fuel card, PPE and uniform
• Starting salary up to £44,000 p/a – depending on experience and discussed at interview
• Productivity bonuses for work completed over expected volume

• Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors – expectation of one fire door install + one remedial work per day
• Complete works in line with the manufacturer’s specification
• Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
• Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
• Liaise with customers and members of the general public

• Experience working with fire doors
• NVQ or equivalent in carpentry and joinery
• Experience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and full assemblies
• Full UK driving license
• Happy to travel up to 1.5 hours radius from their Croydon office
• 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)
