A leading UK healthcare organization seeks a Director of Operations to manage governance, finance, and member services. This part-time and home-based role offers a flexible schedule and a salary around £50,000. The ideal candidate should have a background in operational leadership and experience with membership systems. The deadline for applications is October 27. Contact the recruiting team for more information.
The British Chiropractic Association (BCA) has been at the heart of UK chiropractic for more than 100 years. We are the home for chiropractors who put their patients first, and we exist to support our members to thrive as modern, patient-centred practitioners.
The role of Director of Operations is a brand-new position, created to make sure both our members and our organisation receive the very best care. While our Development and Communications Directors look outward to the profession and public, this role is focused on strengthening our internal heartbeat – ensuring that our systems, services and operations run seamlessly.
Working closely with our CEO, you’ll take the lead on the areas that keep the BCA strong, resilient and effective: governance, finance, membership services, IT and supplier management. From supporting our Board and managing AGMs, to making sure our CRM is smooth and intuitive, to ensuring our members feel truly looked after at every stage of their journey – your work will touch every corner of the organisation.
We are looking for someone with a proven background in operational leadership – someone comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. Financial acumen, governance expertise and experience managing membership systems or complex digital platforms will all serve you well here. Just as importantly, you’ll bring a proactive and service-oriented mindset, a natural ability to collaborate and influence, and a drive for continuous improvement.
The role is home-based (UK, with occasional travel), part-time, and flexible hours, with a salary of c.£50,000 per annum.
For the full applicant pack, reach out to Simone Loxton: simone@memcom.org.uk. The deadline for applications is the 27th of October.
