We are seeking individuals interested in starting a career in accounting. This role is ideal for newcomers, as no prior experience is necessary; full training will be provided at no cost.

Several companies are currently looking to hire Junior Accountants. The training is funded by the UK Government and will be conducted fully online with tutor support available. This opportunity arises due to a significant skills shortage in the industry.

A Junior Accountant assists senior accountants or management with various tasks, including:

• Bookkeeping
• Payroll
• Budgeting
• Invoicing
• Tax filing
• Accounts receivable/payable processes

The role requires ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records, compliance with procedures, and effective communication.

• No previous experience needed
• Must be living in the following postcode areas: SS0, SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8, SS9
• Strong numeracy and mathematical skills
• Committed to pursuing a career in accounting
• Structured thinker and effective communicator

This is a free, government-funded AAT qualification that can be studied online at your own pace, with no need to travel.
