Responsibilities
  • Manage portfolio of approximately 300 accounts worth £1m-£3m in annual gross sales revenue
  • Drive customer retention and account growth across allocated portfolio
  • Manage business relationships focused on retention, solution development, and growth
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with Customer Experience, Sales and Operations teams
  • Manage customer renewals in accordance with internal governance processes
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records of all customer communications and activities
  • Resolve disputes with Customer Credit Control team and manage debt levels
  • Provide timely, professional responses to customer enquiries and minimise service failures
  • Identify and develop cross‑selling opportunities within energy and water businesses

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous sales and/or account management experience in waste management industry preferable
  • Advanced relationship management and communication skills
  • Financial acumen and proficient financial management capabilities
  • Experience delivering professional presentations
  • Self‑driven team player with enthusiasm for environment, sustainability, and circular economy
  • UK driving licence essential as extensive travel is required

Job Details

Salary: Competitive plus bonus and company car / allowance and excellent Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Duration: 12‑month fixed‑term contract

Location: Central London Depot (Walbrook Wharf), with frequent travel across the City of London and Central London
