Based on-site at HMYOI Werrington, the Functional Skills Lead Tutor will be responsible for leading and developing a team to deliver high-quality learning services. The role includes teaching responsibilities, leading by example as an excellent practitioner.

You will support the Assistant Education Manager in overseeing the performance of the functional skills department, and as part of the management team, you will be responsible for maximizing contract performance, developing curriculum, delivering quality provision, and exceeding partner and learner expectations in line with the company's ethos of 'Improving People's Lives'.

What are we looking for?

• Level 3 Maths & English or equivalent
• Full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or equivalent
• Extensive experience and expertise in your field
• Experience in delivering training
• Ability to employ a wide range of training methods to engage learners
