Job summary
A leading laundry solutions provider is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service commercial laundry equipment across sites in the Manchester/Warrington area. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with laundry systems, strong electrical competence, and the ability to respond to breakdowns efficiently. Responsibilities
- Attends reactive breakdowns and provides routine maintenance to commercial laundry equipment.
- Works remotely, on callout standby one in four weekends.
- Carries out electrical and mechanical repairs on a range of laundry equipment.

Due to continued growth a Field Service Engineer is required to join a market leading manufacturer and service provider of commercial and industrial laundry equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company who truly values and celebrate their team whilst offering job security.
This role would suit an experienced commercial laundry engineer, however candidates with demonstrable electromechanical skills working on domestic white goods equipment are encouraged to apply. Ideally you will be commercially gas qualified, however the company can provide this.
- Attends reactive breakdowns and provides routine maintenance to commercial laundry equipment at customer sites, working to a First Time Fix target upwards of 85%.
- Works remotely most of the time and is on callout standby one in four weekends.
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on a full range of laundry equipment.
- Works in a 1 - 1.5 hours radius from home, averaging 3 to 4 jobs per day.
- Works on commercial laundry equipment in care homes, hotels, charities, gyms etc.
- Experience working on laundry systems
- Able to work efficiently to rectify breakdowns and to work accurately to PPM schedules
- Electrical competence including the ability to dead test and carry out safe isolation
