Job summary
A leading tech solutions provider in the UK is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to replace BYOD with Fabric and support data strategies. The successful candidate must have active SC clearance and will focus on data management, collaborating closely with business stakeholders. They will define processes for releasing data engineering code and reporting, contributing significantly to the project’s goals. This remote role offers an initial 3-month contract with possibilities for extension.
Qualifications
- Experience with data engineering in Azure environments.
- Knowledge of PBI content release processes.
- Understanding of BI and analytics vision.
Responsibilities
- Replace BYOD with Fabric and support data strategies.
- Conduct audit reviews of PBI Tenant Settings.
- Assist in defining data export processes and design.
Skills
Lead Data Engineer (SC Cleared) - Initial 3 months Outside IR35 Contract
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to replace BYOD with Fabric and support wider data strategies within the project.
- Required for the initial implementation of the Fabric replacement for BYOD
- Support moving CE / Scribe from Synapse Link to Fabric Link
- Perform audit reviews of PBI Tenant Settings / Workspace Access / Audit & Logging Settings
- Define PBI content release processes
- Define data engineering code release processes (ALM)
- Collaborate with end client in defining data export processes, policies and procedures
- Support long-term design of data platform
- Support long-term BI & analytics vision
- Active SC Clearance is ESSENTIAL
- Initial 3 month contract (Extensions highly likely)
- Outside IR35
- Fully remote
- 5th January start date
