This unique position involves traveling to various locations to assist dermatological procedures, specifically Mohs surgery, which is critical for effective skin cancer treatment. • Assist in the preparation and execution of Mohs surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, including taking vital signs and educating them on recovery procedures.
• Travel to different clinic locations as required, facilitating the smooth operation of Mohs surgery clinics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records throughout the surgical process.
• Support dermatologists in the scheduling of procedures and managing office communications.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols in all settings.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and well-stocked surgical environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology or surgical setting, particularly with Mohs surgery preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and practices related to dermatology.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to various clinical environments.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software.
