Job summary
A government body in the United Kingdom is seeking a GDPR & DSAR Information Management Officer for a 3-month remote contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Subject Access Requests in compliance with UK GDPR, ensuring accurate release of information, and maintaining records. Candidates should have experience with DSARs, GDPR knowledge, and active security clearance. This position supports a crucial service within the government, providing a dedicated function for processing sensitive data requests.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Data Subject Access Requests, especially GDPR regulations.
- Experience in data redaction and extraction methodologies.
- Must possess active security clearance for handling sensitive information.
Responsibilities
- Process personal information requests and determine what can be released.
- Update records on the in-house computer system.
- Handle queries from customers and colleagues across the Department.
- Perform general office duties, including manual handling.
- Support the values of the Cabinet Office and Civil Service.
