Job summary
A leading IT recruitment firm is looking for a Senior Automation Tester to work remotely, contributing to high-quality software solutions. The role involves designing automated test frameworks, creating test scripts, and conducting API testing. Ideal candidates have experience in automated testing, are proficient in SQL and JavaScript, and possess strong communication skills. ISTQB certification is a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience in automated testing and framework development.
- Solid understanding of SQL, JavaScript, and version control (e.g. Git).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and suggest improvements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with Azure.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Nightwatch and Selenium.
- Create and execute automated test scripts that align with changing requirements.
- Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman, and validate data using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.

Duration: 6 months + possible renewals
We're looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our client's dynamic Engineering team. You'll play a key role in building high-quality, scalable software solutions and help deliver reliable, high-performing software products through advanced testing practices and robust automation frameworks.
You'll play a key role in building and maintaining automated test solutions to support continuous delivery. Working closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders, you'll ensure that software changes meet high quality standards from start to finish.
