QA Engineer — Remote (UK) with Playwright & API Testing
Job summary
A healthcare company is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team. The role is remote or based in Sheffield/Plymouth. Responsibilities include designing and executing test suites, ensuring application quality, and using tools like Playwright and Jira. Ideal candidates will have experience in exploratory testing, REST API testing, and possess good time-management and problem-solving skills. The position offers a salary of up to £29,000 and an array of employee benefits including holidays and pension scheme.

- Experience in exploratory web application testing.
- Experience in REST API Testing with Postman.
- Some experience or demonstrable learning of Playwright.
- Basic MS SQL skills through SSMS.
- Good time-management and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed test suites against BDD requirements.
- Test web application UIs to defined acceptance criteria.
- Extend and maintain Playwright test suites.
- Test REST API services using Postman.
- Log and manage issues using Jira.
